10-Year-Old Tawny Port NV – Douro DOC

An elegant, characterful 10-year-old tawny port with an amber colour, a complex nutty aroma and notes of dried fig, nuts and warming spice. The palate is intense, fresh and beautifully persistent.

Tasting notes

Amber in colour, with layered dried-fruit and nut aromas followed by a rich, balanced finish. A natural partner for cheese, nuts and desserts.

Winemaking

Selected quality grapes are destemmed and crushed, then fermented in traditional granite lagares with foot treading. Brandy spirit arrests fermentation at the desired sweetness. The wine matures in used oak casks in cool cellars before different ages are blended to achieve an average age of 10 years.
